Vinyl Replacement Windows
LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
Aztec Windows warrants to the original purchaser a lifetime warranty from date of purchase, as long as the original purchaser shall own and reside in the home in which the products were installed subject to the limitations and conditions contained herein. Aztec Windows Vinyl Replacement Windows will be free of defects in material and workmanship as a direct result of manufacturing in accordance with the recommendations and specifications set forth by Aztec Windows.
The warranty excludes failures that are the result of:
(1) Accidents, fire, flood, wind, hail, lightning, acids, fumes or other natural disasters
(2) Atmospheric pollutants and mildew
(3) Improper use or installation
(4) Settlement of building or failure of structure
(5) Vandalism or theft
This warranty does not include frost freezing or condensation on windows.
Window Frame and Sash
Window will not warp, blister, flake, peel, crack, rot, or corrode and is warranted under normal use.
Screen and Screen Frames
The materials used in manufacturing screens and screen frames are warranted against manufacturing defects resulting in rotting, rusting, or staining for as long as you own and reside in your home.
Balance and Locks
Balances used to raise and lower sashes of double hung windows, and closure locks are warranted under normal use.
Insulated Glass
Failure of hermetic seal that results in dust or film formation between double or triple glazed units are warranted under normal use according to the terms and conditions below:
Years 1-5: Provide replacement insulated glass unit at no charge
Years 6-10: Provide replacement insulated glass unit at 50% of current unit price
Years 11-20: Provide replacement insulated glass unit at 75% of current unit price
This warranty does not include labor costs and Aztec Windows will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the removal or replacement of any part or component, or installation or reinstallation of windows.
Claims
State the order number, purchase date, describe your claim and provide proof of purchase. Enclose your name, current address and phone number. A local representative will inspect the premises within a reasonable time, if determined to be necessary.
In the event of needed repair or replacement, the remaining portion of the original warranty is in effect and covers replaced material. Nothing shall extend the original warranty period. In the event that a replacement part or unit is no longer manufactured,Aztec Windows reserves the right to substitute an equivalent component.
This warranty sets forth only warranties extended by Aztec Windows. The provision, terms, and conditions contained herein constitute the exclusive remedy for breach of warranty. These warranties are valid in those states where permitted and give you specific legal rights. Rights may vary from state to state.
